MAMA NA DADA AFRICA

Mama na Dada in Makueni

Mama na Dada-Africa is a non-profit, non-governmental organization set up for African women to support the empowerment of the African girl child.  They are one of the partners working with GGPIII to attain its programme goals. There areas of projects are Rarieda, Molo, Makueni and Suba.

Mama na Dada, is planning to conduct trainings for their trainers in their project areas, step down training for community groups and community outreaches, within January and June this year.

NATIONAL COUNCIL OF CHURCHES OF KENYA (NCCK)

The National Council of Churches of Kenya is a family of Christian communions and organizations in fellowship and witness. NCCK is also a partner in the GGPIII. They plan to hold regional trainings from the 25th of January to the 12th of February in all constituencies in the country.

There will also be a National Women Conference on Constitution review conducted by NCCK, on the 22nd to 24th of February at the Jumuia Conference and Country Home- Limuru.

FEDERATION OF WOMEN LAWYERS (FIDA) KENYA

The former Executive Director of Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Kenya, Ms Patricia Nyaundi, has been selected as the secretary and Chief Executive officer of the Truth justice and reconciliation commission.

Ms Nyaundi will oversee the management of the Commission’s Secretariat and policy implementation to ensure successful delivery of its mandate. Ms Patricia also holds Master of Laws degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Cape Town South Africa, Diploma in Legal Practice from the Kenya School of Law and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi.
